At any point in time you will find this muesli in an airtight container in my cupboard. I make this recipe about twice a month and eat some almost daily, whether as breakfast, a snack or dessert. You can use your air-fryer or oven for this very easy and delicious recipe! You can also make substitutions as you wish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup mixed seeds
  • 1/2 cup nut butter
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1/3 cup honey/syrup/sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • A good pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven or air-fryer to 180 degrees
  2. Mix together oats, nuts and seeds
  3. Mix together remaining ingredients to form your wet mixture
  4. Pour wet mixture over the oat mixture and give a good mix
  5. Bake for 30-40 mins or until golden, mixing every 10 minutes
  6. Let the muesli cool in an open oven/air-fryer until crisp
  7. You can mix in additional dried fruit e.g. dried cranberries, apricots, raisins
